As you read this book, you can already start to associate the main character to the pop princesses of the 2000s. The story that they tell of the pressures of stardom, coming from a tough family background, etc are all tales we have already held in the media. That doesn't mean that the story isn't worth telling through and the way this book is written creates a lot of empathy and intrigue to what will happen to her. I'm really intrigued to continue reading and see.
