The first page of "Honey" lures you in--with the sultry image of pop star Amber Young on the cover of Rolling Stone and a young, impressionable girl hungry for more info about her favorite pop star. Let's be honest--the hotter the gossip, the better--sex, drugs, betrayal--the public eats it up, no matter the mental or emotional cost to the celebrity.

"Honey" promises to be a fascinating and thrilling behind-the-scenes look at the rise of a popular girl group during the late 1990s and early 2000s and all the scrutiny and pressure they faced during a tumultuous time in pop history.

I love the simplicity of the cover (CD's on a bubblegum pink background) and how it evokes the nostalgia of the era, and I can't wait to read more about Amber's clashes and triumphs with other members of Cloud9 and her encounters with Wes Kingston and ETA.
