I have been in a reading slump, since COVID starting, so I am surprised at how quickly I read through the preview. I have not heard of Mikel or his band, but what I read was so interesting, I want to learn more about him. The preview started with Chapter 15 and ended with 17, so I really want to read about Mike's early years, as well as learn more about his brother and mother. I was pulled in reading about noggin, wet willies, etc, as many of us experienced these growing up, but not necessarily in the way Mikel experienced it from his brother. I was deemed the favorite child by my sisters and it made life unbearable at time, but I wasn't tortured. But yet, Mikel's brother is there when needed. I want to learn more about his step father. I definitely want to read more!
