This story is more about life after the cult (or the c-u-l-t as he calls it) rather than life in the cult, since he was so young when they left. Tough topics like addiction, family, acceptance, loss and strength are covered in this tale of Mikel Jollett’s life.
I think a good book, especially non-fiction and memoirs, opens your eyes to a life different than your own and helps you realize how different everyone’s journey in this life is. And that’s exactly what Hollywood Park did.
