I saw Hollywood Park on a number anticipated reads lists, and the chapters provided in BookishFirst's First Look confirm that the praise is well deserved. Jollett writes beautifully and the glimpse we see into his highly dysfunctional family packs a punch. Hollywood Park is on the top of my springtime TBR pile.
