I can tell from this excerpt that this is a well-written memoir. I am beginning to appreciate Mikel's story and want to learn more about his life. I am fascinated by cults and the stories of people who were involved in cults. I am curious about how Mikel's life is now and how the cult changed him as a person. The cover of this memoir is beautiful and it shows two sides of life.
