Was hoping for more cult related information than what was provided

I found it kind of odd that this first impression was from chapters 15-17 and not from the start of the book. I thought maybe they selected these chapters because they were the most gripping of the memoir. However, I found chapter 15 pretty bland and did not have anything related to the cult experiences the blurb had me interested in. I'm a picky non-fiction reader so this book did not land a spot on my TBR.
