This is really not my kind of book and as good as my first impression was I really can't see myself wanting to read it.
That being said it was a good introduction. The main character has an abusive brother and a mother who seems to, for the most part, ignore it. I felt sorry for the main character and angry at the lack of parenting. I'm certain reading this book would stir yo strong emotions from start to finish!
