I admit to being a psychology nerd with a morbid fascination for the inner workings of cults. I also love Mikel Jollett's voice, and I'm a fan of Airborne Toxic Event's music. This combination of factors immediately drew me to this book. While the writing is a little rough around the edges, Jollett certainly succeeds in evoking emotions. His story of survival is one most of us can't imagine.
