I don't think the first look was a great place to start. The synopsis makes the book sound quite fascinating, yet the first look we get was starting at chapter 15 and very confusing. Memoirs are very but or miss for me, and from what I was able to read from the middle of the book, I honestly don't know if I'll like it. Reading from the beginning I might love it since everything will have more context and make more sense.
