The sample chapter is Ch. 15, which is odd to read a chapter from the middle of the book, but it does give an idea of what the book is about. Mikel has grown up in a not-so-traditional way and is being bullied. He saves to get a bike, only to have it be trashed. This sounds like one of those memoirs where the person had a rough life but came out better because of it.
