This excerpt made me want to read more of this story. I would like to know what went before the excerpt and if these brothers survive. It described a very tragic family. It highlighted the struggle of having a family member who is an addict and how that changes forever your relationship with the world. It is highlighted by adults making bad decisions through their own codependency. But I digress. In short, I want to see these characters develop.
