Although it was a little difficult to understand who some of the people were when they first appeared (chapters in the middle of a book don’t exactly work well for a first impression), the writing was well done and the content emotional and heartbreaking. Having lived in poverty, I could relate to some of the experiences and feelings but really would like to read the entire book to help understand the cult connection!
