This book sucked me in right away as I read about the determination of a child who wants a bike. The fury, jealousy, and abuse of the older brother both shook me and caused me great heartbreak. What I read is well-written and painful and I just wonder how you come back from years of this kind of dysfunction and hurt. I look forward to reading this book in its entirety not only to find out how these relationships changed but mainly to learn how the author found himself among all of this chaos.
