The synopsis eludes to the sadness and struggle in this book. In the first impression, you see even more the harsh reality that the author had to live through. It was a bit awkward to read from the middle of the book rather than from the beginning so the reader doesn't have the basis of understanding characters and past events, but nonetheless, I would like to read more of this book!
