Fascinating Memoir Filled with Childhood Family Conflicts!

These chapters were really interesting to me. The relationship between Mikel and his brother Tony is filled with hurt, resentment and jealousy, at least on Tony's side. I'd love to find out what's behind those feelings. Mikel's mom seems to be a good mom who is trying her best. Paul, while struggling with his own issues, is also trying to be a good father figure to the boys. I found the family dynamics in this First Read to be really compelling. I would absolutely read this book!
