I had not heard of this author previously, so Holly Horror was the first book I've read by this author. Holly Horror is a young adult horror(if you can't tell from the title). I really like young adult books so I enjoyed this one. This book follows a girl named Evie Archer. Her parents just went through a rough divorce and she moves to Massachusetts for a fresh start. However her new home is very much haunted. It has a dark history relating to who was in the house before her. It ends on a bit of a cliffhanger which is my only complaint. This book made me very excited for Halloween and spooky vibes. It's a paranormal with ghosts. There's also a bit of romance and mystery as well as horror! I like when books fall into multiple genres. On goodreads it's described as a classic reimagined with a dark twist. I'm not really sure what classic this is based on.
