Evie, her mom, and her brother Stan, move out NYC to Hobbie House. A family property that has been vacant for some time. Aunt Martha has been tbe caretaker bht only hiring people to keep the property, as she never enters the home. Known to be Horror House due to the disappearance of Holly Hobbie, Evie wants to learn more about Holly as she starts to see things that shouldn't be there. Evie starts to spiral and keeps seeing and hearing things that no one else does. With her sanity in question, Evie does what she can to try and figure out what happened to Holly. And will Evie share the same fate?
I really enjoyed this YA horror. It's creepy with a mystery behind Holly's disappearance as Evie uncovers the past. There are still some questions left unanswered, but the ending definitely leads to more questions. I'm looking forward to the second book!
