If creepy is your thing, look no further. The author manages to start an unsettling vibe even before anything weird actually happens. And it slowly builds until you get to the doll. Dolls are creepy. Talking dolls are off the charts creepy. It doesn’t matter how many times dolls are used for creepy vibes they always work. Creepy is not my thing. I think this book would weird me out. But I think that’s what it’s going for. So I think it’s well written. Just not for me.
