Wonderful characters - Love their pasts and looking forward to knowing more about their futures!

I fell in love with Russ Van Alstyne from the first book I read. Strong, loving, kind, dedicated, smart...all those things one might want in a man. Clare Fergusson, however, is my favorite character. I admire her for being driven, loving, spiritual, adventurous, and sometimes more spontaneous than might be necessary. Her history of serving in the military, and then serving in the ministry, provides her with an interesting past, and future.
I have looked forward to Julia Spencer-Fleming's books for years now and have been so excited for months, after hearing about her new book. I can't wait to read it!
