It may seem like forever ago since I last read Clare and Russ stories, but just a year or so later, I'm back in 100 percent.
First impression: going back in time and tracing the roots of the current Millers Kill PD is the best way ever to give a backstory.
And, as usual, the details that Spencer-Fleming includes make the scenes so real. The threads that tie the first scene to the second really had me flipping through to the next one.
It's one of my favorite series and I can't wait to read it!
