I am unfamiliar with this author and series, but the first impression has me intrigued. Three seemingly identical murders but over a span of 50 years. I'm definitely curious to see where the story goes because I'm not quite sure that it can be a serial killer situation. So I'm definitely intrigued. And the fact the current day police chief is married to a reverend is a nice spin on a cozy murder story. The one thing that bugs me is the title—"hid" from our eyes just doesn't sound grammatically correct. I'm interested to see how the title will play into the story.
