Based on the summary of Hid From Our Eyes by Julia Spencer-Fleming I was hopeful for a gripping and suspenseful tale. Unfortunately he writing didn’t grab me right away. Additionally, the hymn at the beginning made me wonder if there was a religious theme to the book. However, the book cover is very eye catching.
