I find it intriguing
The book opens up by drawing curiosity from the reader as the crime scene shows a girl has just been murdered. I liked the banter between the Chief, Liddle and Carruthers. This makes me anticipate that the case will be a difficult one to solve with the daring personalities and inter-personal conflicts. As I begin to anticipate more, the second murder is described soon after and then links up to the present day which is intriguing and full of suspense.
I also love that there is the mix of politics in this novel and there is a sense of wonder and curiosity that the reader feels as he/she reads along.
