So far, the story seems promising. I would be interested in seeing how all of the loose ends that connect these crimes through the decades get tied up. It definitely reads like a stereotypical crime novel so far. The writing isn't anything fantastic, and I would like to see if the writing changes as the three timelines do for authenticity and consistency's sake. The cover was aptly pretty, but ominous. It definitely captures the "something is amiss in a small town" vibe.
