I've eagerly awaited this 9th book in the Clare Fergusson/Russ Van Alstyne mystery series, and I was hooked by page 5. Of course, on the way there I had to stop to sing the hymn from which the title is drawn--I always seem to do that. Then Spencer-Fleming's tight writing reeled me into the story, reminding me why I've been so eager to read another one of her books. I know her characters, and I'm glad to be reunited with them.
