I enjoy mysteries that span over many decades such as this one. I love the concept that a crime is copying the mo of another crime that happened 20 or 40 years ago. Its sounds so fascinating to see how this mystery plays out. Unfortunately, I'm sad to find out this is part of a series which has prior story build up. It doesn't seem like it could read as a standalone.
