Her Good Side follows Bethany and Jacob throughout their journey in exploring themselves. Bethany is a basketball player, and a good one too, while Jacob enjoys more of filming and skating. Though they may be an unlikely match, they share one thing in common, their experience, or lack of, in the dating scene. What begins as a simple homecoming date turns into a deal to practice dating to gain said experience.
I liked the book as whole. Bethany and Jacob were fun characters to read about. The book being dual point of view allowed to me see both of the characters' thoughts, which made the reading experience all the more enjoyable. Seeing the character's develop and discover themselves helped solidify the book for me and give it more depth. I was really starting to enjoy it towards the end, where most of the action occurs in their relationship. From the beginning to the middle, their character and relationship is being developed, whereas at the end, the action starts to pick up and the book became more engaging to me.
