Although rom-coms or YA romance or whatever this is isn't usually my thing, I found myself drawn into the story. These characters are very well developed - so realistic! I can't say I've ever been as brave as Bethany to ask a boy to a dance, but I've felt the sting of rejection, and I'm rooting for her!
