I like plenty of young adult books, but this one is not for me. It's too teen. In that, it's full of who likes who, who likes who, who asked who out, who wants to ask who out, who got turned down by who. It's like a stream of crush fueled consciousness where there isn't room for anything else in the world. And the part where Bethany decides she needs to spend less time being true to herself so she be more what the boys she crushes on likes, breaks my heart and doesn't feel like a good start to a book.
