The cover caught my eye because the female protagonist Bethany reminds me of myself, so I could relate on that level. When I started reading, I could internalize Bethany’s nervousness and doubt as well as Jacob’s awkwardness because I have been there. I can’t wait to read more and see how Jacob and Bethany’s relationship develops!
