This First Look definitely makes me want to keep reading Her Good Side! The main characters' personalities practically jump off the page. Bethany's voice is fresh and authentic, and her brutally honest sense humor will definitely entertain teen readers. Jacob's more subdued but equally funny chapters bring a nice balance to the opening of the novel. Both Bethany and Jacob have vulnerabilities that make them really relatable. Her Good Side reminds me a little of Perfectly Parvin by Olivia Abtahi (plus the dual perspectives) and I just love the sassy look in Bethany's eye on the cover!
