The opening line of this first look immediately pulled me in. I love Bethany's voice as the storyteller, and I found her very likable. I love a good fake dating trope, and sped through the first look. I liked the inclusion of visuals for the text messages, and how the characters actually act like high schoolers (as opposed to them seeming like full-blown adults). Seems like a cute read!
