I'm always here for a book with a Black girl on the cover. And I love the comps of Nicola Yoon and Jenny Han. The book starts with Bethany's point of view, and I like her voice, a bit punchy but also very relatable. I wasn't expecting it to be alternating points of view either, but I like that and it feels unique for a contemporary romance, so I'm definitely interested in seeing where this story will go.
