This sounds like it could be a cute and empowering book, bringing in some diverse perspectives. I just never understood the fake dating trope, especially if it's meant to be practice. It just never made sense how you could practice dating...wouldn't that be the same thing as hanging out with friends if there are no actual feelings involved? I'm sure those who enjoy this type of book will like it, but it doesn't sound like it's for me.
