The "first look" of Rebekah Weatherspoon's HER GOOD SIDE is absolutely tempting. We get a balanced POV from both main characters (Bethany and Jacob) to give us a feel for what's going on in their lives before the fake relationshipping starts, which helps us understand why they might choose to go that route. Let's face it, as much fun as the fake relationship troupe is, it's kind of a hard sell if we're talking realism. But Ms Weatherspoon lets us see the insecurities that both characters are working with, as well as a good look at their close relationships. Both Beth and Jacob come off as sympathetic characters, and already just a few chapters in the reader is 100% invested in seeing them have a happy ending. The excerpt is just enough to make you want to read the whole book!
