This is well-written and very cute. The characters are likeable and interesting. I think I'm mostly just not into high school romance drama right now if it isn't queer. I do very much like the diversity - already there are characters with many different skin colors and quite a few queer side characters.
I'm not sure I want to read this urgently, because I really don't like her crush. He's kind of a jerk. Her love interest (I'm assuming based on the cover and the second POV, even though he's currently dating her friend) is much more my kind of character/person though, and based on that I probably would enjoy the book so it's going on my list.
