I love the friend group dynamic that is going on so far in this first look. The writing is a little rough, but I am really interested in seeing how Jacob and Beth go from friends to more. I think this book will definitely appeal to contemporary YA fans. It's very much giving Frankly in Love vibes right now.
I think the cover art is cool, but it isn't my particular taste. I absolutely would read more to find out how this fake romance progresses, and I think this contemporary YA novel will appeal to a much more diverse audience than we so often see. I'm excited to see where the book goes!
