I think Bethany is so fun and relatable. She considers herself a late bloomer, but all of the sudden is interested in boys and wants a date to the dance. When he says no, she's left feeling the blues. Jacob has had a glow up over the summer and finds himself in the surprising position of having a girlfriend. So far, I'm really liking the writing and characters! Can't wait to read more!
