I love Rebekah Weatherspoon, but I wasn't sure how she'd translate into YA and I am pleasantly surprised. The start of this book has all the heart and soul of her adult books in themes appropriate for younger readers. Her characters are super diverse and I can not wait to see how Bethany and Jacob's story plays out!
