Heiress for hire is a very fun book. It's a good romance novel mixed with a murder mystery. I loved the chemistry between Minerva and Chase. The side stories with Beth and Jeremy were also very well written.
I thought a lot of this book reminded me of Sherlock Holmes they way the mystery plays out.
The story starts out with Chase breaking into Minerva's house to find out if she is who she says. He then tells her that she has been left money by his uncle whom Minerva has never met or heard of. The death is mysterious so both Chase and Minerva decided to investigate the incident. Minerva with her own new detective agency and Chase as a side job for Scotland Yard.
Really great fun read.
