Maybe, but not quite hitting the right spots
In all honesty, this doesn't sound my usual kind of historical romance read. I usually go for enemies/friends to lovers, contract relationships, or anything that seems like the MCs have opposing characters.
They do have opposing characters here but somehow the sizzle wasn't enough for me. The beginning and how they met was too abrupt. I think I can safely say I am not much of a fan of this author's writing style- a little more direct than what I am used to.
I am sure others would find this a very good fun read.
