Heiress for Hire has a bright cover that really pops. I’m not sure that I would pick it up, because it’s clear from the cover this is a historical and that just isn’t the genre for me personally. That being said the cover makes it clear what the genre is for sure. I think the first look is extremely well written and gives you a good idea of what this story will be about. A widow, who has escaped her past inherits some money, and the man who is there to tell her that is also investigating her for her husbands death. Oh top it off with they are both attracted to each other. Of course. All that said, I’m not sure I would pick this one up. The trope seems fun and tense, but I’m not really into the historical style. I think if someone does enjoy historical romance, then they’d definitely be keen to pick this one up!
