Interesting concept for a mystery but not excited about the romance.

This starts off promising - a man breaks into Minerva's house and is subsequently caught, tied, and beaten up. He says he's there to tell her about a mysterious inheritance from a duke she doesn't know. The duke also left money to 2 other mystery women. This sounds like a really interesting plot, but knowing that it turns into a romance does not excite me at all.
