The cover is beautiful, but based on the look I assumed this was going to be a historical fiction bodice-ripper romance. Instead what I happily discovered was a murder mystery and one of three women who inherit a substantial fortune from a man they have never met.
I was hooked into the plot from the first page. What I really like so far is the air of mystery surrounding the characters and the Duke’s mysterious death. Minerva Hepplewhite is a force to be reckoned with, plus her name is fantastic, and I can only imagine what happened in her past and can’t wait to find out!
