I was very impressed with the writing. Nothing made me roll my eyes immediately. The story flowed and background information was given in a smart and natural way. I like the glimpse of Minerva's complicated past and the possibility of a complicated relationship with Chase. All in all, seems like a good choice for historical fiction romance fans. I do wish the cover wasn't so romance novel-esque but it's clear and to the point. This is a romance novel through and through.
