The setting of the first part of the book hooks you in right away- trying to figure out what Chase was doing in Minerva's home- what was he looking for? The book then continues on with stating that Minerva is left a hefty amount of money from a will from a Duke that has passed away- someone she has not even encountered before! This makes you want to keep on reading to find out what sort of impact she made on the Duke that he left her (and other individuals) a significant amount of money, but not to his own family. I am excited to read through this book... even with the first few chapters I am already invested in Minerva's past and whatever path this book takes her and Chase into!
