An interesting combination of intrigue and romance

What an interesting plot Hutner has created. A 'normal' woman with a past inherits a fortune from a Duke she's never met and a gentleman who dedicates his time to solving mysteries find their paths colliding when the cause of death is a mystery. This is so original that I would want to read it just for that, but Hunter really is a fantastic writer and the first look was enough to make me truly interested in every single character she presented. That's a skill.
