I loved the cover for this book; the purple and yellow really work well together. I also haven't read Madeline Hunter in awhile, so I thought this would be the perfect book to rectify that situation.
However, I could not get into this book at all, and I kept slogging through, hoping something in the First Impression would catch my attention. Sadly, nothing did, but it might just be a personal problem.
