oh, it's everything you hoped for and more! I really enjoyed rooting for this star-crossed couple (survivor Rory and zombie-disease affected Mara), despite the seemingly impossible, insurmountable odds -- I mean, how can you still love someone who represents the ending of the world and the loss of your loved ones, and whose existence brought out the worst in those who remained? Or how can you expect to be loved when you've done so many monstrous things, after all that has happened since that one, brief kiss so long ago? Well, of course Love is the answer to everything, but first they also need to survive the attacks of the megalomaniac despot who has put himself in charge of "keeping the community safe."
Look for this book in April 2024 -- you won't want to put it down!
